How do I sign-in to Ford Meter Box TV?

All Ford Meter Box team members may access the internal content and features of FMB.TV. You need an Active Directory ID (Ford Meter Box account) to sign in to FMB.TV. Click the Sign In icon in the upper right corner of the page.  The first time you sign in, you will be asked to provide your Ford Meter Box email address and Password.  You will then need to accept the conditions for using your sign on credentials on FMB.TV to proceed.  After that, you can confirm you are signed in anytime by checking the icon in the upper right hand corner.

If you have any issues signing in, you can contact helpdesk@fordmeterbox.com to reset your password.

If you do not have a Ford Meter Box email address, please enjoy our content that is available to public audiences without signing in.

How can I share a video?

There are many ways to share content on FMB.TV. However, please note that not all FMB.TV content is appropriate for all audiences. Please be cautious and judicious when sharing FMB.TV content.

All sharing options can be accessed from the links below a video. More sharing options are available to users who are signed in.

Social
Share video to your social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Sharing to social networks does not give FMB.TV or Ford Meter Box access to post other content or access your social accounts in any way.

Download
Download video to your local computer for use in PowerPoint presentations or other resources. Videos are in mp4 h.264 format and will require a compatible player to view. Please see "How do I download a video?" for more information.

Email
Email a link to the video. Viewers may need to sign in to view if the video is not available to public audiences.

SMS
Share link to the video in a text message. Viewers may need to sign in to view if the video is not available to public audiences. Mobile data rates may apply.

Embed
Display video directly on your website. Copy the embed HTML code and paste in your website content editor. You may choose either a fixed sized player or a responsive player for mobile-compatible websites.

Internal videos may be embedded, but you must enter the domain of the websites on which the video will be embedded. You are responsible for sharing the content with appropriate audiences.

Copy link to video page. Viewers with a share link can view internal videos without signing in. You are responsible for ensuring your video links are shared only with appropriate audiences.

How do I download a video?

We’re glad you like using FMB.TV, but we do not regularly provide digital copies of our videos because they could be edited or altered or used without permission and it violates our copyright.

To display or share our videos somewhere like a kiosk or a trade show, we offer full screen and looping options in the player controls.

Users who are Signed In will find downloading and other sharing options. Only Internal audience members are permitted to download digital copies of our programs. If you are an external audience member, you will need to have an appropriate Ford Meter Box team member provide authorized copies.

Can I get an Embed Code for videos?

Embed codes can be found below the left corner of the video display window. Select the Embed icon, then copy the fixed or responsive HTML embed code for use on your website. 

How do I turn on Subtitles?

Subtitle functions depend on the player or browser you are using.  Not all videos have subtitles, but most of our Installation Instructions do.  If subtitles are available, you will see a square with CC in the lower right hand corner of the player controls.  Click the CC to turn on subtitles in one of the languages available.  If you do not see a CC in the lower right hand corner, then that video does not have subtitles available at this time.

What languages are available in Subtitles?

If subtitles are available, you will see a square with CC in the lower right hand corner of the player controls. Only the languages listed are available for that video. 

When I select a video to download, it plays in my browser instead of downloading?

Some browser settings will override the download link and play the video instead. If your browser is configured this way, you can right-click the download link, or right-click the video in your chrome browser and select "save-as".

FMB.TV supports the following desktop browsers:

FMB.TV supports the following mobile browsers:

• iOS Safari
• Android Chrome

FMB.TV requires the use of JavaScript for video playback and some dynamic features of the site. Please ensure JavaScript is enabled and not blocked.
